Public Shooting Opportunities

The Catawba Valley Wildlife Club is a private club, but it is dedicated to charitable and community service. We are particularly interested in seeking out new opportunities to introduce youngsters and the general public to the shooting sports, to educate them in safety and appreciation of natural resources, and, by example, to teach our ethics and values of sportsmanship to the next generations.

Twice a month (in season) the Club conducts Saturday Civilian Marksmanship Program rifle matches and Sporting Clays opportunities for the general public. Refer to the events calendar for specific dates. The Events Calendar also shows the charitable shooting events which are open to the public.

We also welcome the general public to our monthly dinner meetings, held in the Clubhouse on the fourth Thursday of every month at 7pm. This is an excellent opportunity to meet members of the Club who share your particular interests.
